Fugace Films was born from a long-standing friendship between Alex and Edwin, who first met by chance during a university exchange in Sweden fifteen years ago. What began as a shared curiosity grew into a deep creative partnership, rooted in a mutual belief that stories, especially those left untold, carry the power to shape how we see the world.
At Fugace, we are committed to bringing forward the narratives that too often live in the margins - women’s voices, queer perspectives, immigrant experiences, and those shaped by cultural in-betweenness. We believe cinema is not just entertainment but it is also an invitation to imagine, and a quiet rebellion against the conventional narratives.
Through films that are intimate in spirit and global in scope, we aim to build bridges between cultures, challenge the mainstream, and make space for new voices to rise. Fugace Films is a home for stories that linger, fleeting moments yet with a lasting impact.

FUGACE FILMS is a boutique independent film company focusing on the development, production and co-production of international films with a strong auteur voice. We are dedicated to amplifying and empowering the voices of the diverse, under-represented and women to tell compelling universal stories. We have two offices, one in France and the other in Singapore.
We find ourselves connecting with the French word Fugace as it captures the way we feel about films and how we see them : they are fleeting moments, much like life itself - a series of ephemeral, transient experiences, which allows us to understand ourselves and our experiences through stories.
PEOPLE
ALEXANDRA BORZA | CEO - PRODUCER
Alexandra Borza is CEO, Producer and Founder of Fugace Films. Trained as an engineer and urban planner, she spent over twelve years leading complex real estate and urban development projects before serving as Head of Operations at Commune Coliving, France’s first coliving concept dedicated to single-parent families. Her experience building and managing ambitious, socially driven ventures, alongside her involvement in entrepreneurial and investment networks including WILLA and Femmes Business Angels, shaped the strategic and entrepreneurial approach she now brings to Fugace. At Fugace, Alexandra leads the company’s development and production strategy, championing distinctive, socially engaged stories and underrepresented voices while building bridges between Europe and Asia through international co-production. Her producing practice has been shaped through the programmes of EAVE, La Fémis, When East Meets West, Stowe Story Labs and JUST FUTURES, bringing together creative intuition, strategic thinking and a commitment to building a sustainable, internationally minded production company.
GEORGIA AZOULAY | STUDIO LEAD
Georgia Azoulay is a French-American filmmaker. With a multidisciplinary background spanning film, theatre, performance and production, she brings a broad understanding of the creative process, from the development of an idea through to its realization on screen. As Studio Lead, Georgia oversees the creative development of Fugace Studio’s commissioned work, working closely with clients and collaborators to shape each project’s narrative, artistic direction and visual language. Drawing on her sensitivity to performance, movement and character, she brings Fugace’s cinematic approach into the commissioned space, creating work that responds to a brief while retaining a distinctive point of view and emotional resonance. Alongside her role at Fugace, Georgia continues to develop and direct her own narrative and documentary projects.
EDWIN HO | PARTNER - DEVELOPMENT PRODUCER
Edwin Ho is a Singaporean filmmaker based in Paris with over a decade of experience across film, immersive media and branded storytelling in Asia, Europe and the US. A graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film Directing Program, he brings a filmmaker’s perspective to Fugace, working across story development and production to shape projects from their earliest stages and build the company’s growing slate. His work has been supported by international programmes including EAVE Ties That Bind, Cine Qua Non Lab, Stowe Story Labs and Script Circle by Solace 23. Prior to co-founding Fugace, Edwin spent several years in New York directing and producing award-winning immersive and branded work for international clients including the International Rescue Committee, Swarovski and Vanity Fair. At Fugace, he works across development, creative strategy and international partnerships, drawing on his experience across narrative and branded storytelling to develop distinctive, culturally specific stories for international audiences.
ALEXANDRE CHAMBRON | STUDIO LEAD
Alexandre Cambron is a Studio Lead at Fugace, working across the creative development and production of the Studio’s branded narratives. A graduate of ENS Louis-Lumière, his background spans cinematography, colour grading and production, giving him a broad understanding of filmmaking from the development of an idea through production and post-production. His work across narrative, documentary and branded films is shaped by close and often long-term creative collaborations. At Fugace, Alexandre brings together a strong visual sensibility with a practical understanding of filmmaking, working closely with clients, directors and collaborators to shape each project from its initial idea through to the screen. His role moves fluidly between creative development, cinematography and production, with a particular attention to craft and to carrying Fugace’s cinematic approach across every stage of the process.
